My name is Emma Nova Dorschman, I’m a 24-year-old designer & illustrator born and raised in Dronten, Flevoland. For my career and my love for a life in a big city I moved to Amsterdam.

I have always had a fascination for computers, making blog pages or playing videogames with my twin brother might have led into my career in graphic design, I like the technic aspect of it all in animation and design, the creative side of me meets halfway.

I’ve started my career in the retail, it allowed me to explore all sides of being a graphic designer in this branche. I have always considered it a luxury, working for multi-brand companies at my age. Working different target groups forces you to continue broadening your knowledge.

When I became the designer at Sabbatical, this unlocked a whole new aspect of design for me. Designing for a brand, and in this case collections, is a bit different than designing anything for a multibrand-concept. It is the most fun and im grateful for everything i’ve done at Sabbatical.
